Can I add another person to my listing?
Add co-owners by entering their info, sending invites, and having them verify accounts. All parties must sign the agreement before listing goes live.
How to Add Co-Owners to Your Property Listing
If you co-own your property with other individuals, it’s simple to include them in your Bōde listing. Follow the steps below to ensure everything is set up correctly.
Steps to Add a Co-Owner
1. Select “Myself & Others”
In the Ownership section of your listing, choose the “Myself & Others” option.
2. Enter Co-Owner Details
Provide the legal name, email address, and phone number for each additional owner.
3. Send the Invite
Click the “Send Invite” link to invite the co-owner to join the listing.
4. Add More Co-Owners if Needed
Click “+ Add another Co-Owner” to include additional co-owners.
5. Account Creation and Verification
Each invited co-owner will receive an email with instructions to:
- Create a Bōde account
- Complete ID verification
Co-owners must complete both steps for the listing to proceed.
6. Control How Co-Owners Appear on the Listing
Only a co-owner’s first name is shown by default. You can choose to display a nickname by editing their profile within the listing setup.
Submitting the Listing
7. Submit for Review
Once all co-owners are added and verified, submit your listing for Bōde’s review. You will receive the Listing Agreement via email.
8. Sign the Agreement
- You sign the agreement first
- It will then be sent to each co-owner in turn for their initials and signatures
9. Completion
Once all owners have signed, the finalized agreement will be emailed to everyone for their records.
