What should I do if we need to change the conditions to the deal after it has been signed?
If a buyer tries to re-negotiate, you can accept, counter, or decline. Always document changes and contact Bōde to ensure your contract is updated.
What Happens If Buyers Try to Re-Negotiate the Deal?
If buyers request to re-negotiate the terms of the deal, you have three options:
- Accept the changes
- Counter the request
- Decline the changes
If You Decline the Re-Negotiation
The original agreement remains in effect unless it officially collapses.
If the deal does collapse, **please notify the Bōde team via help@bodecanada.com
We’ll provide the appropriate documentation to ensure you are protected.
If You Accept the Re-Negotiation
If you agree to the buyer’s requested changes, it’s important that these are formally documented.
Reach out to us via help@bodecanada.com, and we’ll help you:
- Draft the proper amendment to the agreement
- Ensure updates are reflected in the contract sent to your lawyer
Clear documentation keeps the deal on track and protects both parties moving forward.
