What is an "offline" offer?

Offline offers come outside the platfrom. Ask buyers to submit online so you can negotiate smoothly, track all offers in one place, and get a contract prepared.

What is an offline offer, and should I use the Bōde platform instead?

An offline offer is when you receive an offer from a buyer or their agent outside of the Bōde platform — usually as a PDF or within the body of an email.

As a seller, we recommend encouraging buyers to submit offers directly through the Bōde platform by clicking the "Make an Offer" button on your listing page. There are several benefits to doing so:

  • Easily negotiate each term of the offer online
  • Keep all offers (with full details and statuses) organized on your Offers page (https://bode.ca/offer-management-seller)
  • Have your final, agreed-upon deal automatically populated into an industry standard contract by the Bōde Team
