What if the buyers re-negotiates after the inspection?
After an inspection, you can accept, counter, or decline buyer requests. Bōde helps document changes or collapse the deal if needed to protect you.
What Happens If Buyers Try to Re-Negotiate After an Inspection?
If an inspection is completed and the buyers request changes to the deal, you have three options:
- Agree to the changes
- Counter the request
- Decline the re-negotiation
If You Decline the Re-Negotiation
The original deal still stands unless it is officially collapsed.
If you decide to collapse the deal, please notify the Bōde team at
help@bodecanada.com (mailto:help@bodecanada.com).
We will provide you with the correct form to ensure you are protected.
If You Accept the Changes
Reach out to Bōde at help@bodecanada.com (mailto:help@bodecanada.com)
to request help with drafting an amendment to the agreement.
This amendment will be included in the final contract sent to your lawyer during the closing process.
