What happens when an offer on my home expires?
If you don’t act before the deadline, the offer expires automatically. You’ll get an email when it’s made and a 24-hour reminder. Buyers can resubmit easily.
What happens if I don’t respond to an offer before it expires?
If you receive an offer on the Bōde platform and you don’t accept or counter it before the expiration deadline, the offer will automatically expire.
As the seller, you’ll receive:
- An email notification when an offer is submitted.
- A reminder email 24 hours before the offer expires (if no action has been taken).
This is the same process you’d experience when working offline with a REALTOR® — offers are always time-sensitive.
If an offer expires, the buyer can easily create and submit a new one using their previous offer details as a starting point.
